Help

To get help on using Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite, click Help in the main menu. The opened context menu contains the following options:

• Documentation—opens a page of the administrator documentation that corresponds the currently opened section of the Control Center. If the current section of the Control Center does not have the correspondent documentation page, the Documentation option is not displayed in the context menu of the icon.

• Support—opens the Support section of the Control Center (see below).

Support

The control menu of the Support section contains the following elements:

1.General

•Forum—opens official forums of Doctor Web company.

•News—open the news page of Doctor Web company.

•Contact technical support service—opens the web page of Doctor Web technical support.

•Send a suspect file—opens a web form for sending a virus to Dr.Web Virus Laboratory.

•Doctor Web wikipedia—go to wikipedia page—knowledge base about Doctor Web company products (on Russian only).

•Report false alarm in Office Control—opens a web form for sending a message about false alarm or detection failure in Office Control module.

2.Administrative Documentation

•Administrator manual—opens administrator documentation in HTML format.

•Installation manual—opens documentation on Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite installation in HTML format.

•Anti-virus Network Quick Installation Guide—opens the quick installation guide to establish the anti-virus network, in HTML format. It is recommended to read this instruction before you start the establishing the anti-virus network, installing and configuring the components.

•Appendices—opens appendices of administrator manual in HTML format.

•Web API Manual—opens administrator documentation on XML Web API (see also the Appendices document, p. Appendix L. Integration of Web API and Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite) in HTML format.

•Dr.Web Server Database Manual—opens documentation on the internal structure of Dr.Web Server Database.

•Release notes—opens release notes for Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite of installed version.

•Administrator Manuals on Managing Stations—opens administrator documentation on managing stations for corresponding operating system in HTML format from the list.
These manuals contain the information about centralized configuration of anti-virus software of workstations which is provided by anti-virus network administrator via Dr.Web Security Control Center. The manual describes the settings of corresponding anti-virus solution and features of centralized configuration of the software.

3.User Documentation—opens user documentation for corresponding operating system in HTML format from the list.
