On this page you can manage the following Dr.Web ICAPD settings on the protected station (internet gateway): •Run the component at the start—select the check box to run the component on the protected internet gateway. •Socket for client connections—network socket (<IP address>:<port>) to be used by ICAP clients (such as Squid) to connect to Dr.Web ICAPD. •User—name of a Unix-like OS user with whose rights and privileges the component is run on the protected internet gateway.
•Log level—verbosity level for logging Dr.Web ICAPD messages. •Logging method—logging method for Dr.Web ICAPD. Allowed values: ▫Auto—use logging parameters defined for all components in Dr.Web ConfigD settings. ▫Syslog—use the syslog system service for Dr.Web ICAPD message logging. If you choose this method, you must also specify a value of the Syslog facility parameter in the drop-down list. This parameter defines a subsystem (label) used by syslog to store messages from Dr.Web ICAPD. ▫Path—use a separate file to store Dr.Web ICAPD log messages. If you choose this method, you must also specify a path to the file in the Log file field. |
