The logical structure of the anti-virus network
Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite anti-virus network has a client-server architecture. Its components are installed on computers (including those that function as LAN servers) and mobile devices. Anti-virus network components exchange information via TCP/IP network protocols. Anti-virus software can be installed on protected stations (that can be managed afterwards) either via the LAN, or via the internet.
Before using Dr.Web software, you must make sure there are no conflicts between the anti-virus software and the software and/or firmware of your corporate infrastructure. Install all the latest updates and perform all secure configuration steps outlined in this documentation. If critical corporate infrastructure segments interface with Dr.Web software, it is strongly recommended that all updates to program modules and virus databases be tested in an isolated test environment.
