F6. Share.conf Configuration File

The DRWESI$ shared resource is created by default when installing Dr.Web Server for Windows.

Its settings are stored in the /etc/share.conf file. By default, the contents of the file include two lines:

1.Shared resource address: %ProgramFiles%\DrWeb Server\webmin\install.

2.Shared resource name: DRWESI$ by default (can be changed during installation).

To change the name of the shared resource

1.Create a new shared resource via the Windows Administration Tools settings: go to System Tools → Shared Folders → Shares and select New Share in the context menu.

2.Specify the new name in the share.conf configuration file.

To disable the shared resource

1.Disable the resource via the Windows Administration Tools settings: go to System Tools → Shared Folders → Shares and select Stop Sharing in the resource context menu.

2.Delete the share.conf configuration file.
