The Dr.Web File Checker file scanning component is designed for scanning files and directories in the file system. It is used by other components of Dr.Web Mail Security Suite to scan file system objects. In addition, this component permanently registers all threats detected in the file system and also functions as a quarantine manager, as it manages the contents of the directories where isolated files are kept.
