Dr.Web for UNIX Mail Servers that was installed from the universal package can be uninstalled from the command line (if you are using a graphical desktop environment, you will need a terminal emulator).

The uninstaller uninstalls not only Dr.Web for UNIX Mail Servers, but also all other Dr.Web products installed on your computer. If any other Dr.Web products, besides Dr.Web for UNIX Mail Servers, are installed on your computer, follow the custom component installation or uninstallation procedure to uninstall Dr.Web for UNIX Mail Servers only, instead of running the uninstaller. |
Uninstalling Dr.Web for UNIX Mail Servers From the Command Line
The uninstaller is started by the uninst.sh script, which is stored in the <opt_dir>/bin directory (in /opt/drweb.com/bin for GNU/Linux). The uninstallation procedure of Dr.Web for UNIX Mail Servers is described in the Uninstalling From the Command Line section.
You can also start the uninstaller in a silent mode by running the command:
# env DRWEB_NON_INTERACTIVE=yes /opt/drweb.com/bin/uninst.sh |
In this case, the uninstaller is run in the silent mode and operates without the user interface (including uninstaller dialogs in a command-line mode).

Root privileges are required to run the uninstaller in the silent mode. To elevate your privileges, use the su and sudo commands.
When uninstalling the universal package in OSes using the outdated versions of the package manager (for instance, ALT 8 SP and others), you may see messages of the following type:
