Configuration parameters of all Dr.Web Server Security Suite components are managed by the Dr.Web ConfigD configuration management daemon. Changed parameters are stored in the drweb.ini file whose default directory is /etc/opt/drweb.com/ for GNU/Linux or /usr/local/etc/drweb.com/ for FreeBSD.

The text configuration file stores only those parameters whose values differ from defaults. If a parameter is absent in the configuration file, its default value is used. |
View the list of all available parameters, including those that are absent in the configuration file and have default values, by running the command:
$ drweb-ctl cfshow |
You can change any parameter value in two ways:
•By running the command:
# drweb-ctl cfset <section>.<parameter> <new value> |

This command requires to run the Dr.Web Ctl management tool with superuser (the root user) privileges. To obtain superuser privileges, use the su or sudo command.

•By specifying this parameter in the configuration file (by editing the file in any text editor) and reloading the configuration of Dr.Web Server Security Suite to apply changes by running the command:
