Security components provide system scanning , scanning of mails for threats and spam, monitoring of network connections and HTTP traffic.
To configure protection components, open the Dr.Web menu 
in administrator mode, run Settings 
and go to Protection components.

To be able to configure protection components, you must have administrator privileges. |
To configure scanning of launched processes or files in use, go to SpIDer Guard.
To configure HTTP traffic scanning, go to SpIDer Gate.
To configure email scanning for threats, go to SpIDer Mail.
To control the connections and data transfer via the Internet and to block suspicious connections both on network and application levels, go to Firewall.
To change general parameters of scanning and reaction on detection of infected or suspicious files and archives or other malicious objects, go to Scanner.
To control the third-party applications, go to Preventive Protection.
