In order for the Family Security app to work properly on Xiaomi and Poco devices, change the following settings:
Autostart allows to start application processes right after the device is turned on. It is necessary for continuous protection of the family members’ devices.
To optimize battery usage, your OS might stop Family Security. This will interrupt family members’ devices protection.
•Lock Family Security in the background
Running in the background allows the app to keep running even if it is not active. It is necessary for continuous protection of the family members’ devices.
Family Security uses pop-up windows displayed over other apps to restrict access to a certain app or the whole device.
•Disable pausing unused app activity

If the Family Security app is device administrator, this optimization setting is not available. |

1.In your device settings, select Apps > Permissions > Background autostart.
2.Select Family Security in the list of apps.
To disable battery optimization
1.In your device settings, select Apps > All apps.
2.Select Family Security in the list of apps.
3.Select the Battery saver or the Manage apps’ battery usage setting.
4.Select No restrictions.
To lock Family Security in the background
1.Open recent apps.
2.Tap the lock icon next to the Family Security app.
Some OS versions also allow you to lock apps in the background via the pre-installed Security app:
1.In the Security app, tap the 
settings icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
2.Open the Boost speed section.
3.Select Lock apps.
4.In the list of all apps find Family Security and use the toggle button next to it to lock the app in the background.
1.In your device settings, select Apps > All apps.
2.Select Family Security in the list of apps.
3.Select Other permissions or Display over other apps.
4.In the list of permissions, enable displaying pop-up windows and displaying pop-up windows in the background.
To disable pausing unused app activity
1.In your device settings, select Apps > Permissions.
2.Select Family Security and open App permissions.
3.Use the Pause app activity if unused toggle button.
