This section contains a short description of actions you need to take to set up the device when you start the application for the first time. You can learn more about each step in corresponding sections, which are linked in every step description. Family Security provides two user roles: family manager and family member. Family manager tracks family members’ location and manages their restrictions. Family members follow the restrictions set by their family manager. You can use the same family manager account on several devices at the same time. To set up the app after the first installation for the family manager role 1.Read and accept the License Agreement. 2.Choose the I protect my family panel and create a family manager account with a valid email address and a password. 3.Confirm the account you created. To do so, follow the link in the email you will receive to the email address you specified. 4.Obtain a paid or a demo license. Depending on the type, paid license allows you to create 1, 5 and 10 family member accounts. Free demo license is active for 14 days and allows you to create 10 family member accounts. 5.If you want, you can set up additional security settings. You can also tap Skip and set them up later via app settings menu. 6.Grant necessary permissions by following the instructions on your screen. After you finish the initial set up, you can proceed to create and set up the family member accounts. It is recommended that a family member uses an individual device. You can use the same device under different roles with the switch role option, but some functions will be unavailable for the family manager. You cannot use both roles on the same device at the same time. You cannot use several family member accounts on the same device. You cannot use the same family member account on several devices at the same time. To set up the app after the first installation for the family member role 1.Select the I need protection panel. 2.Log in to your account. To do so, scan the QR code or enter the PIN code and email. Family manager should provide you with the login data. 3.If you want, you can set up additional security settings. You can also tap Skip and set them up later via app settings menu. 4.Grant necessary permissions by following the instructions on your screen. 5.Turn on necessary optimization settings by following the instructions on your screen. After that you will finish the initial setup. The family manager will be able to set up the limitations for this account. |
